Task: Fit loft insulation.
What my spreadsheet says: Been meaning to do this for a couple of years now.
More Details: Well, I have been meaning to do it. The loft is a bit scary, though, and getting up there isn't as easy as it ought to be. Getting rolls of space blanket up there as well as me will be hilarious, I'm sure.
One off task? Yes.
Measurable? Yes, by doing it.
